Back in 2019, I wrote a post about the “Kahr Ratio“.

It’s a calculation that is extremely useful when determining whether or not a rate of condominium sales will be able to pay off the outstanding construction loan balance. It’s a breakeven calculation, but for debt and not equity. In any event, it wasn’t named so I made a youtube video about it, and then suggested that it should be named after me.

I realize that’s sort of ridiculous and a form of self-aggrandizement, but in any event, I did it. It’s the modern era. We all get to be famous, right? Also, who wouldn’t want a calculation named after them?

Someone took me up on the joke. A graduate student decided to use my ratio in his Master’s thesis.

I love the internet.
