In 2009, we were hired to conduct an independent financial feasibility analysis of the Atlantic Yards development in Brooklyn, New York.
This report was used to support litigation in the ongoing fight between community groups, the developer, and other interested parties.
Our report pointed out ways in which the developer and the State were overly aggressive in their assumptions about the potential success of the development.
In the end, while the development has gone forward, it has taken much longer to complete than was originally projected by the developer.
