Market analysis and feasibility studies are an important part of any real estate project regardless of size; it serves as the backbone on which major decisions are made. Negotiations with lenders, prospective equity partners, and regulatory authorities are all easier when supported by well researched and thorough analysis.
We believe that in order to be successful, we must take a multi-layered, "hands on" approach: we visit the prospective sites, interview public officials and key members of the real estate community, perform economic and demographic research, and present our findings in a clear and concise form. Our reports do not just identify current market conditions; we seek to enhance the overall profitability and market acceptance of the project by identifying hidden opportunities.
Our principal, Joshua Kahr, is a recognized industry leader in this field. He has written two books on the subject of real estate market analysis, Real Estate Market Valuation and Analysis (John Wiley and Sons: 2005) and Housing Bubbles and Beyond (Amacom Books: 2007).
